Exciting things to come...

I am excited about the potential work that is to come in the following months.  This Friday I will be meeting  a gorgeous newborn boy and am excited to try some things with him.  Hopefully we'll get some beautiful sunshine streaming through.  Watch this space....

Wow!! 8 Gorgeous Families!!!!....

What an awesome weekend I had, meeting with 8 gorgeous families!  I tell ya, it doesn't matter how many portraits I take for families, each one is different.  There is never a dull moment, with kids running around in circles, slipping on the dirt in their Sunday best, parents running after them, mums yelling, dads standing 2 metres away, kids being bribed with lollies to keep still, playing "Simon says" it's all great fun and I loved it!  Big ups to all professional photographers who do this for a living...IT AIN'T EASY!!

More than 10 families are confirmed for this weekend's shoot.  Pray the weather will be awesome this weekend.  The experience will be wonderful.  I look forward to meeting some lovely families.  Looking forward to spending time with my family back home also!  Watch this space for some awesome pics...

Violin concerts & busy weekend coming up

Looking forward to meeting some gorgeous families next weekend.  I have 14 families booked.  I think I'm going to need a holiday :).

My eldest had her first violin concert to raise funds to support the local schools Suzuki violin programme.  Such a great opportunity for our children.  At first I was snapping away with my camera just taking candid shots and then I thought hey! an opportunity to practice.  So here are just a few pics taken from the other night.

Upcoming Gigs & Gifts...

I'm finishing off a few gifts for clients that I hope they will enjoy.  As part of my wedding package deal, each couple will receive a photobook of selected edited images from their special day as a "Thank You" from me.  So these will be ready soon and shipped off to their new homes - Preuss & Jones families.

I have a gig later today with the Tau family @ Petone Beach however the day is looking pretty dismal which I think could still work out with a few umbrellas but we'll see.  So online I go to find an alternative location to suggest to this gorgeous family.  See what happens...stay tuned.

For Christchurch!!!

Such a blessing to see our fellow Kiwis taking the initiative to use their gift/talents to help others in need.
So I have offered my services to give Christchurch families who have moved to Wellington a free family portrait photo shoot to help them rebuild their lives.  Understanding that this won't happen straight away but I am willing to keep my offer open over the year.  If you know of anyone that has moved from Christchurch and is living in your neighbourhood in Wellington pass on my details. xx

Heading to Auckland 18 - 19th of March

With my husband heading to Auckland for his Thunder Bowl match between the Auckland Grid Iron (American Football) and the Wellington Grid Iron representatives, I am taking the opportunity to be available for photo shoots for all your gorgeous families.  I am looking at a min. of 10 bookings over Friday 18th and Saturday 19th of March.  I have at least 5 bookings confirmed so far.  If you are interested give me a call/text on 021 841 767 or catch me on facebook under the name "Photography by Leone Grace".

For our Wellington families I am available on Fridays and over the weekend if you are keen to have any portraits done of your family.  This is a great opportunity to take advantage of this gorgeous sunny weather (she looks outside her office and it's dark and raining @ 12.45pm!).
